I recorded this from my bedroom window at night. There were cars going by on the road so i tried to filter those sounds out. It's pretty hard to pull this off. Hope it sounds good!. Tools used:sony cybershot cameraaudacity (editing).

Thunderstorm on the evening of 20 march 2017 in ohio. Recorded with tascam dr-05 with level control set to limiter and limit value at 38 which yielded peaks about -12db. Processed in sony vegas and saved with sound markers.

A peaceful, drowsy-ish recording of a midwestern usa large field bordered by heavy forest. This was recorded in mid summer, on a very hot day. Temperature was 90 degrees, but, with 45% humidity it was manageable. The good thing about this recording is i was far enough away from humanity's engines to get no cars, no boats, no loud. . . . Anything. Well, except the insect chorus. This is the time of year in illinois that autumn is getting imperceptibly closer. The skies are clearer blue with less humidity. . . The pretty, soothing, trilling song of the pine warbler. These callings were recorded on sunday march 30th 2014 in a small pine grove, in the middle of a larger forest. On the day i recorded this, the weather was perfectly sunny, and mild -- temps about 60 degrees -- with very little wind. When i first heard this song, i was instantly reminded of a sewing machine.
